• Organize and manage case materials

2. Eligibility

Defensa is intended for use by licensed attorneys, law firms, and authorized legal professionals. By using our service, you represent that you are a legal professional or are authorized to act on behalf of one.

3. Account Registration

To use Defensa, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access

4. User Responsibilities

When using Defensa, you agree to:

• Upload only evidence and materials you are authorized to possess and analyze
• Comply with all applicable laws, rules of professional conduct, and court orders
• Maintain appropriate confidentiality of client information
• Use the service only for lawful legal purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or misappropriate our technology

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use Defensa to:

• Distribute malware or interfere with our systems
• Access accounts or data belonging to other users
• Use the service for any purpose other than legitimate legal work
• Resell or commercially redistribute our services without authorization

• Use of Defensa does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Defensa

8. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the evidence and materials you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing our services.

Our Platform: Defensa, including its software, design, and documentation, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect access. We are not liable for any interruption of service.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We do not warrant that AI analysis will be error-free or suitable for any particular legal purpose
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of Defensa is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Defensa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

By You: You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, you may request export of your data.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use Defensa ceases. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Defensa shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
